what’s his deal?
ezra noel is a multi-disciplinary (anti-disciplinary?) artist based in brooklyn. he likes the color green, and owns the normal amount of calendars which is four. ever since he was a little girl, he always knew he wanted to be a gay guy in new york city. particularly, one that makes weird stuff on stage with his friends.
he’s a graduate of the theatre program at long island university post where he received extensive training in physical theatre, zip zap zop and taking on ninety thousand dollars of student loan debt. when he wakes up at the end of the movie and it was all a dream, he hopes all his friends are waiting for him at the side of his bed, but with real jobs this time. for all intents and purposes, that was a joke. here’s some things he actually believes in:
art can’t be radical if it’s not accessible to everyone
new jersey actually is pretty nice and you guys just like to complain
being annoying is better than being boring
gonna write a fourth thing when he thinks of it
he wears his heart on his sleeve, except for the one’s he cut off because he looks good in muscle tanks — ask around. he believes the most valuable relationships are collaborative, and together, “we’re gonna put on the best damn talent show this town has ever seen,” he said charismatically. most recent credits include: butch wicked (brooklyn comedy collective), and third sex: a 1930s transvestite lieder (pete’s candy store).
