ezra noel (he/him) is a brooklyn-based theatre-maker, web designer and drag artist (you can also call him captain von strapp). he has collaborated on developing new works of theatre with the new york theatre barn, breaking the binary theatre, the trans entertainment guild, floorwork theatre company, and various third spaces with his wildly talented pals & peers.

as a transsexual performer, he intends to reclaim bodily autonomy by prioritizing somatic intuition and physical theatre training in his process. ezra strives to produce work that explores queerness, parasocial relationships, and the inherent performance of “self”.

he strives to create characters who inspect the earthly roots of their emotions in an age of curated digital identity and convenience. he craves the carnal stakes of a greek tragedy for those of us who grew up on deviantart, etc.
