Actor. MUSICIAN. CREATIVE.

Hi there! I'm Ezra (they/them) - an actor, singer, dancer, deviser, and fool based in Brooklyn. Having recently graduated with my B.F.A. in theatre from Long Island University Post this May, I have spent the latter half of the year performing in Boston and in New York. With training in Suzuki, Lecoq, Viewpoints, Laban, and Chekhov, my work as a theatre artist is fully-embodied and slightly unhinged (in a good way).
In an effort to explore the relationship between performance and identity, I strive to create bold new characters that transcend society's limited perspective on gender identity. As a gender-fluid person who aligns with the soft & tender parts of my masculinity, my goal as an actor is to redefine the male ingenue in the theatrical canon; to champion trans identities as worthy of love stories and happily ever afters. As I navigate this life as an artist, it is my fervent desire to pave the way for a new generation of voices in the theatre industry. I believe that art can and should be revolutionary, and I am an advocate for the accessibility of the theatre industry and the sharing of stories that dismantle oppressive systems.
In addition to being a performer, I am a graphic web designer, visual artist, parent of a beautiful daughter (my cat Rosie), and most of all, a Capricorn.
Recent performance credits include: Into the Woods (Prima Theater), Rocket Man: An Elton John Musical Tribute (Green Room 42), Third Sex: A 1930s Transvestite Lieder (The Parkside Lounge).
